Safe Exchanges

Safe exchanges are utilized during custody exchanges of children and are facilitated and supervised by a neutral third-party professional provider.  The professional provider will greet one parent at a designated time and location to take possession of the children and then facilitate the transfer to the second parent, eliminating contact and interaction between parents.

 

Safe exchanges are generally used when there is a history of domestic violence or contentious relationships.  Utilizing a safe exchange service with a neutral professional provider allows for a safe, stress free exchange of the children to facilitate the beginning of a relaxed parenting time.
